Prayer

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people."

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.

1 timothy 2:1

The Prayer Partner Ministry was birthed out of a desire to deliberately and regularly pray for each of our Elders and ministry leaders, their ministries, and their families. We have teams for each Elder and pastoral staff member. Each team has a leader who receives prayer requests from the Elder or ministry leader and communicates those requests to their team.
Most people serve approximately once every nine weeks. They will be given prayer guides based on the sermon text and the concerns of the day. New people will be placed with those who have been serving in this ministry for a while so they can learn the plan. We welcome young people and adults of all ages.
Based on Charles Spurgeon’s “boiler room” prayer ministry, we believe having people intentionally pray during our Sunday morning worship service powers the engine of the Holy Spirit’s work in the midst of our congregation. We are looking for people who value prayer and believe God transforms lives through prayer. Individuals will serve on a small prayer team that meets as scheduled on Sunday mornings from 10:30am–12pm.
We invite you to join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm–8:00pm in Room 307. These meetings will take place weekly, as we take time to pray for various people and ministries in our church and around the world. This team is responsible for many of our anonymous prayer requests as well as pressing needs that arise in the church.
