As we grow in a genuine and authentic relationship with God it should begin to rub off in genuine and authentic relationships within our Biblical Community. It is our job as believers to bear with one another and to help each other grow in Christ, but we realize this is no easy task and often times can get messy. We live in a broken world with broken people and we are quick to hide who we are from others, from ourselves, and from God in hopes that we might fool everyone into believing this false narrative we’ve built for ourselves. We pray this conference begins the process of helping us see how an authentic relationship with God and each other helps us in our walk with the Lord. We also pray that this time teaches us how God works in our lives to ultimately show us who holds our identity and what it looks like to live out of our identity in Christ with those that are around us.
