Sunday Morning Prayer Teams

Based on Charles Spurgeon’s “boiler room” prayer ministry, we believe having people praying for the service while it is happening powers the engine of the Holy Spirit’s work in the midst of our congregation. We are looking for people who value prayer and believe God transforms lives through it. Individuals serve on a small team praying during the morning worship service from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Most people serve approximately once every nine weeks. They will be given prayer guides based on the sermon text and the concerns of the day. New people will be placed with those who have been serving in this ministry for a while so they can learn the plan. We welcome young people and adults of all ages.
